Carbon Steel Welding Electrode (E7018)

E7018 is a low-hydrogen potassium, iron powder electrode. In addition to the use on carbon steel, E7018 electrodes are also used for joints involving high-strength, high carbon, or low-alloy steels. E7018 electrodes are characterized by a smooth, quiet arc, very low spatter, and medium arc penetration. The electrodes can be used at high travel speeds.

2.5 mm: 70 ~ 110 Amps
3.2 mm: 105 ~ 155 Amps
4.0 mm: 130 ~ 200 Amps
5.0 mm: 200 ~ 275 Amps
